CLASS COST INCLUDES:

You will also need a payment for $87.00 payable to “UTAH Bureau of Criminal Identification” for your application fee.
REQUIREMENTS + WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A UTAH (CFP) CONCEAL CARRY PERMIT
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Proof of good character…whereas the applicant;
- has not been convicted of a felony;
- has not been convicted of any crime of violence;
- has not been convicted of any offense involving the use of alcohol;
- has not been convicted of any offenses involving the unlawful use of narcotics or other controlled substances;
- has notbeen convicted of any offenses involving moral turpitude;
- has notbeen convicted of any offense involving domestic violence;
- has not been adjudicated by a court of a state or of the United States as mentally incompetent unless the adjudication has been withdrawn or reversed in accordance with applicable laws.

You do not need to have a current Pistol permit to apply for a UTAH CFP. You do not need or create a Paypal account to make a purchase – PayPal accepts all Major Credit and Bank Cards at the payment stage without the need for a PayPal account. UTAH RECIPROCITY
You DO NOT NEED to have a current Pistol Permit in order to APPLY for a UTAH Conceal Firearm Permit.
Please be ADVISED that this MAP is ONLY to be used as a guide. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of UTAH (CFP) Conceal Firearm Permit holders to VERIFY other States recognition of the UTAH CFP.
Because by obtaining a nonresident UTAH CFP Permit and combining it with your New York State Pistol Permit (if applicable), you will be able to carry in 31+ states! In accordance with U.C.A. 76-10-523, Utah will honor a permit to carry a concealed firearm issued by another state or county. Of the states listed in BLUE that have formalized reciprocity or recognition with UTAH, there are some states that will only accept the Utah concealed firearm permit so long as the permit holder is a resident of UTAH.
It is the responsibility of all Utah concealed firearm permit holders to know and understand the applicable firearm laws of the states within which they plan to visit or venture. For information regarding firearm laws of other states, please contact the respective authority within that state.
