American Police Officer Commemorative Tommy gun with gold decorations

Auto Ordnance Corp Thompson Police Model American Police Officer Commemorative Semi-Automatic Rifle. Issued by the American Historical Society in honor of the “American Police Officer”, with highly polished blue and gold plated parts. The left side of the receiver is adorned with an American flag, “In Honor of The American Police Officer”, and banner with “To Protect and Serve”. Manufactured by Auto-Ordnance Corp., West Hurley, NY. The gloss finished buttstock pistol grip and forend are smooth. There are three inset medallions. An American Police Officer Shield and the Scales of Justice are fitted in the buttstock. A “To Protect and Serve Emblem” is fitted in the pistol grip. One 20 round stick magazine included. The flash hider, trigger, sling swivels, charging handle, and rear sight bed are all done in a brilliant gold plate with the remaining parts all blued. Low serial number. Caliber/ Gauge: 45 ACP
